Vito has been the chief operating officer at Ocean Medical Center since 2017, where he has been responsible for improving performance, patient satisfaction, team member engagement
Prior to joining Ocean Medical Center, Vito was the chief operating officer for the Visiting Nurses Association Health Group, and the chief operating officer for Coney Island Hospital, a 371-bed facility serving 87,000 ED visits annually.
He was also the vice president for clinical services and executive vice president for long-term care, assisted living and adult day care for Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was the administrator of record.

Vito received his M.P.A. with a specialization in Hospital Administration from Long Island University, School of Public Health, and his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Services Administration with a minor in Gerontology from St. Francis College.
