Andrew Pecora, M.D., Physician Enterprise and chief innovation officer, has accepted the role of chief executive officer of Outcomes Matter Innovations, LLC (OMI), a private company founded by physicians to enable partnerships between private physicians and health care networks, in concert with payers.
Dr. Pecora has played a key role in the success of many of Hackensack Meridian Health’s strategic partnerships, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center. He has also been a champion in engaging physician leaders to be innovative and transform health care delivery.
More Information on Dr. Pecora’s New Role
In his new role as CEO of OMI, Dr. Pecora will no longer serve as an executive at HMH. However, he will assist in our journey to become a value-based health network and help the network transform health care overall. This new relationship will enable us to maintain our focus on improving quality, reducing costs and the patient experience. As a consultant and strategic advisor, Dr. Pecora will be able to focus on the next disruptors of health care and help Hackensack Meridian Health remain a trailblazer.
