What you need to know
As of Tuesday, April 26, ONElink has been updated to enable clinicians to easily report suspicious, threatening, or violent behavior.
The update includes:
- ALL Workplace Violence Events are to be entered into the Workplace Violence icon regardless of person, event, or severity
- Categories have been streamlined for quicker and more accurate reporting
- WeCare/Support resources question has been added for ease of access to coping resources as needed
- “Noncompliant/Unccoperative/Obstructive” is to be used for those situations where a person fails to be compliant with the rules, makes unreasonable demands, is not redirectable (such as a confused patient that refuses to get back into bed), exhibits behavior that challenges the medical care, or refuses to perform assigned tasks or answer questions
