On November 2, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized the 2022 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and ASC Payment System.
CMS removed 255 ASC surgeries from the ASC payable list. Click here to see the list of the procedure codes that would be removed from the 2022 ASC payable list.
These procedures had been on the ASC payable list in the 2021 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and ASC Payment System final rule, but CMS reversed its decision for 2022.
