Overview: Hackensack Meridian Health’s payment adjustment for our Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs will decrease in 2019 as the result of corrections that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services made to its scoring logic. Physician impact: Payment adjustments will take effect on January 1 for Hackensack ACO, JFK Health ACO and Meridian ACO.The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has made a slight decrease to the payment adjustment for our Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO. The change takes effect January 1 and became necessary after CMS identified errors with its scoring logic.
