HMH Physicians Recognized as Jerseys Best Top Doctors
What You Need To Know
- HMH is pleased to announce that over 500 affiliated physicians have been recognized by Jersey’s Best magazine as Top Doctors.
- The editorial team at Jersey’s Best partnered with Castle Connolly Ltd. to create 2023’s Top Doctors list. Castle Connolly sends a survey to thousands of physicians and health care executives encouraging them to nominate a physician peer.
Once a doctor is nominated, the physician-led research team at Castle Connolly evaluates the following:
- Current and valid board certification in the doctor’s specialty;
- Experience within the specialty;
- Medical education and training;
- Hospital staff appointments;
- Administrative posts held;
- Professional achievements;
- Disciplinary/malpractice history; and
- Interpersonal skills, such as listening, communication, empathy and patient confidence.
In addition, other metrics like outcomes history and procedure volume are reviewed if available.
Making the Top Doctors List
Jersey's Best partners with Castle Connolly on its Top Doctors list. Take the following steps today to help nominate your colleagues for 2024.
- Physicians wishing to nominate someone can register here: nominations.castleconnolly.com
- Each nominating physician will need to use his or her personal NPI number, first and last name, email, hospital, specialty and zip code.
- A Nomination Code and a link to the nomination site will then be automatically emailed.
- Each calendar year, a physician may nominate: 15 in their own specialty, 7 in each Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, and 5 in each of the remaining specialties.
