More than 350 of Hackensack Meridian Health's affiliated physicians have been recognized by Jersey’s Best magazine as Top Doctors.

The editors and publishers of Jersey’s Best partnered with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. to create 2022’s Top Doctors list. Castle Connolly sends out a survey to thousands of physicians as well leading health care executives, asking them to nominate a physician peer to the list.
Once a doctor is nominated, Castle Connolly’s physician-led research teams evaluate the candidate’s:
- Current and valid board certification in his or her specialty;
- Experience within the specialty;
- Medical education, training and clinical skills;
- Hospital staff and faculty appointments;
- Administrative posts held;
- Professional achievements;
- Disciplinary/malpractice history;
- Interpersonal skills such as listening, communication, empathy and patient confidence; and
- Outcomes history, procedure volume and other available metrics.
