Benefits-eligible physicians and team members can now begin to enroll in benefits for the 2022 benefit year. You have until Friday, November 19, 2021, to make changes to your benefit selections. Barring a qualified life event, this is your only opportunity to assess your benefits and make changes to ensure they continue to work for you and your family.
This year, Open Enrollment is a “passive” enrollment for most people – meaning if you’re pleased with your 2021 benefit selections, they will simply roll over into 2022. We’re still encouraging everyone to review their selections, re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts, confirm dependents and beneficiaries and make any changes while you can. Benefit options remain the same as last year, with minimal changes to the OMNIA Inner Circle tier. The changes include a small increase in deductible and maximum out-of-pocket as well as a decrease in coinsurance from 100% to 90%. These changes take effect on January 1, 2022, and only apply to the OMNIA Inner Circle tier.
This Open Enrollment period is for HMH physicians and team members who don’t work primarily at Carrier Clinic, or Nursing and Rehab at Red Bank. Physicians and team members at those locations will have a different Open Enrollment period starting later this month. More information will be communicated as the date approaches.
