On this Doctors’ Day, I have never been more in awe of your commitment, dedication and skill. You are not just the backbone of Hackensack Meridian Health, you are our heroes. You are my heroes. This pandemic has brought fear and uncertainty to our communities, and you are offering us hope.
You continue to deliver exceptional care under the most challenging circumstances. In my 35 years as a health care leader, I have never experienced anything like this. And I cannot imagine a more dynamic and responsive team at the front line.
This pandemic has shone a spotlight on what you do every day – you heal, you save lives, you give us hope.
When the books are written about this extraordinary time – and there will be many – you will be recognized as true American heroes.
