US News World Report Recognizes Nine HMH Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities with Top Rating

Nine of the network’s nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Brick, Edison, Hackensack, Ocean Grove, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Wall and West Caldwell received the highest ratings in short-term rehabilitation, according to U.S. News & World Report's 10th annual Best Nursing Homes.

These nine Hackensack Meridian Health facilities are among only 19 percent of nursing facilities nationwide to be awarded the High-Performance badge by U.S. News & World Report.

The nine Hackensack Meridian Health nursing home and rehabilitation and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities that received U.S. News & World Report's high performing ratings overall in short-term rehabilitation and care include:

  • Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehab in Ocean Grove
  • Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehab in Shrewsbury
  • Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehab in Hackensack
  • Hackensack Meridian Health Subacute Rehab in Wall
  • Hackensack Meridian Health Prospect Heights Care Center in Hackensack
  • Hackensack Meridian Health West Caldwell Care Center in West Caldwell
  • Hackensack Meridian Health Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford Township
  • Hartwyck at Oak Tree in Edison

U.S. News survey

The U.S. News survey included nearly 15,000 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across the country, designating ratings of “High Performing”, “Average” or “Below Average” for both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.

Facilities that earn a High Performing rating are eligible to display a U.S. News-trademarked Best Nursing Homes award badge. Only 19 percent of nursing homes across the country earn at least one badge from U.S. News.
