Kelly Chaknis has been appointed director for Women’s and Children’s Services at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and South Region Care Transformation Services as of June 12.
In this role, Kelly will lead the administration, operations, strategic planning and program development/implementation of OB/GYN and Children’s services.

Kelly has been with HMH since 2007 when she joined the Human Resources team as a benefit specialist in Compensation and Retirement. She has since excelled in a number of leadership roles including Physician and Business Development manager, business manager for surgical services and most recently as the regional manager for Women’s Services for Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Medical Center.
Kelly is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and is currently pursuing her MBA as part of Hackensack Meridian Health/Monmouth University cohort program.
