What You Need To Know
This week, HMH received a transformational $125 million gift from an anonymous donor — the largest gift of its kind in the history of New Jersey health care and one of the largest health care gifts in the nation this year!
Since the formation of Hackensack Meridian Health 10 years ago, it has been our mission to transform health care and be recognized as the leader of positive change. As a not-for-profit network, every dollar we earn and receive through generous gifts are reinvested right back into patient care. This incredible contribution will be instrumental in our plan to expand Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The donor asked that the gift honor the legacy of the late John K. Lloyd by placing his name on a pavilion at JSUMC. John was a visionary leader who served with Bob Garrett as co-CEOs of HMH and spent more than four decades building JSUMC into one of the nation's premier academic medical centers.
