Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s Department Shines at National Conference

Faculty and residents from Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s Department of Anesthesiology proudly represented our commitment to academic excellence and innovation at the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Annual Meeting held in San Antonio, Texas, this October. The Department had an impressive 11 scientific posters accepted for presentation.

This is a particularly noteworthy achievement for our Department and its new residency program, showcasing the high caliber of scholarly work being fostered. Our Anesthesiology residents led the charge as first authors on seven of these presentations, with additional collaborations including a presentation by one of our Internal Medicine residents and three presentations by medical students from the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. 

Michael H. Entrup, MD, FASA, Chair and Founding Residency Program Director, is especially proud of the Program faculty and residents’ dedication to clinical and academic excellence, setting a strong foundation for future generations of anesthesiologists and healthcare leaders.
