What You Need To Know

Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is proud to announce the opening of the new Dr. Robert H. and Mary Ellen Harris Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, a significant advancement for our comprehensive Epilepsy and Seizure Disorder Program. This incredible development was made possible by the remarkable generosity of Mrs. Harris and the Golden Dome Foundation.

Located on Northwest 5, the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit features four private rooms with the latest technologies, including ceiling-mounted cameras and EEG machines. It allows for close monitoring, accurate epilepsy diagnosis and identification of the area of the brain where seizures originate.

This unit marks a new era of hope and healing for individuals living with epilepsy right here at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
