Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, is proud to announce that over 450 affiliated physicians have been recognized by Jersey’s Best magazine as Top Doctors.
The editorial team at Jersey’s Best partnered with Castle Connolly Ltd. to create the 2024 Top Doctors list. Castle Connolly sends a survey to thousands of physicians and health care executives, encouraging them to nominate a physician peer.
Once a doctor is nominated, the physician-led research team at Castle Connolly evaluates the following:
- Current and valid board certification in the doctor’s specialty;
- Experience within the specialty;
- Medical education and training;
- Hospital staff appointments;
- Administrative posts held;
- Professional achievements;
- Disciplinary/malpractice history;
- Interpersonal skills, such as listening, communication, empathy and patient confidence;
- Other metrics like outcomes history and procedure volume are reviewed if available.
Top Doctors selected by Castle Connolly represent just 7% of all practicing physicians in the United States.
