What You Need To Know
- You may not realize that the Medical / Dental Staff Scholarship is funded 100% by Hackensack University Medical Center’s very own physician and dental staff.
- It can be awarded to any eligible non-physician HUMC's employee or dependent.
More than 300 employees and their dependents have received this scholarship since 1991, when Dr. Michael Petriella (retired) of the OB-GYN department advocated for non-physician employees to be recognized for their work and encouraged to pursue their education. More recently, more than $150,000 in scholarships have been awarded in the last five years alone.

The deadline to submit applications and supporting documents is Friday, May 19, 2023.
