Advanced Diagnostic Tools
Providers will use the latest diagnostic tools to determine the causes of GERD and create a treatment plan based on each patient’s diagnosis. Treatment options may include lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, medication and potentially surgery.
GERD affects about 20 percent of adults in the U.S. and can result in serious, long-term health consequences if not addressed and treated properly. The two most common symptoms include heartburn and regurgitation, although difficulty swallowing, chest pain, cough, laryngitis, dental erosions and even asthma can also signal the condition.
