Hackensack University Medical Center Road Construction Alert

Starting Tuesday, February 14, work will begin on a new concrete traffic island at the intersection of Second Street and Essex Street. The work is expected to take approximately a week to complete. The north bound lane on Second Street will be closed at the intersection from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day. There will be no turns onto Second Street from Essex Street while work is ongoing. Police will be provided for traffic control during working hours. All traffic heading to the Second Street Garage, HTP, Hepburn Building, Imus or Hillcrest Buildings during these times should utilize Atlantic Street and head south on Second Street.
