Hanhan, M.D., FACS, medical director, Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery, Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center, welcome Dennis Vega, M.D., FACS to the Lung, Esophageal, and Thoracic Oncology Program.
The program provides treatment for benign and malignant conditions affecting the lung, esophagus, thymus, mediastinum, chest wall, and diaphragm.
The program offers a personalized approach, tailored to the needs of each patient throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties. This comprehensive program includes surgical, medical, and radiation oncology expertise, access to clinical trials, and many support services and resources.
Dennis Vega, M.D., FACS is board certified in cardiothoracic surgery as well as general surgery and has over 20 years of experience in medicine. Dr. Vega provides his patients with comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans, and makes it a priority to ensure open communication with patients and families, from diagnosis to treatment and recovery.
Dr. Vega comes to us from St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, where he was the Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery. He is currently a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons as well as the New York Society for Thoracic Surgery.
