The American Heart Association (AHA) has recognized JFK Medical Center with Mission Lifeline: EMS Gold Plus Achievement Award for 2019.
JFK is one of only five EMS crews to have this distinction in the state of New Jersey. In addition to receiving the highest award level consistently since 2015, this year is also special because it is the first year that the legacy Raritan Bay MICU and the legacy JFK MICU combined data and resources to apply for the award together.
Both EMS units have a long history of receiving high honors with the AHA, and both agencies pride themselves on the delivery of high quality and progressive clinical care.
