Jersey Shore is the only medical center to receive this certification on the East Coast and the second hospital to achieve this designation in the United States.

Jersey Shore’s integrated hepatobiliary care team offers:
- Rapid appointments to evaluate pancreatic masses
- Minimally invasive robotic surgery as well as complex open surgical procedures
- Advanced interventional endoscopic techniques to treat these cancers and their complications, such as blocked ducts that cause pain and impair quality of life
- Medical and radiation oncology treatments based on the latest research
- Clinical trial opportunities and other research initiatives designed to improve hepatobiliary cancer care
- Surveillance for patients at high risk of pancreatic cancer, with genetic counseling/testing and personalized screening
- Integrative health approaches and nurse navigators to ease patients’ experiences with cancer
