A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRS
Throughout 2022, our neuroscience experts have contributed to many achievements, accomplishments and innovations across the Hackensack Meridian Health network.
We’ve continued to expand our programs and services at our three academic hubs, adding more than 20 new clinicians to our neuroscience team. Across the spectrum of neuroscience disciplines and throughout the Hackensack Meridian Health network, these experts provide our patients with enhanced access to leading-edge neurosurgical care closer to where they live and work.
Our programs and clinicians continue to be recognized nationally for quality and excellence, as well as for ongoing research focusing on brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, hereditary neuropathies, concussion, epilepsy and more.
Additionally, our team is embracing new technologies and therapies that are helping to improve outcomes and deliver life-changing care for our patients — including focused ultrasound treatment for tremors, intraoperative MRI at the new Helena Theurer Pavilion, point-of-care head CT and MRI scans, and single-photon emission computed tomography diagnostic imaging, among others.
As we reflect on all we’ve accomplished and look toward enhancing our services in 2023 and beyond, providing compassionate, high-quality patient care will remain at the forefront of our mission.
