JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute received an award for heading the "Best Cardiac Rehabilitation Center" by the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) at their annual gala in December 2021.
Dr. Iqbal Jafri, Director of the Center for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, received the award on behalf of the department.
"We are committed to helping our patients return to their highest possible level of function, independence and quality of life after a heart attack or cardiac event," said Dr. Jafri.
