The Diabetes Self-Management Education Service (DSMES) at Southern Ocean Medical Center has been awarded continued Education Recognition by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for offering high-quality education services to participants.
Education services that receive the ADA's recognition status meet National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Services, including by having a staff of knowledgeable health professionals who can provide state-of-the-art information about diabetes management to participants.
