Dr. Shabbar F. Danish, chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at JSUMC, received an individual physician award from NJBIZ 2026 Health Care Heroes. The winners were celebrated on Tuesday, June 23, at a celebration in Somerset. The awards were created to recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care in New Jersey.
