Dr. Carmela Rocchetti, who leads the Human Dimension (HD) curriculum at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, has been named a 2026 Innovators Award honoree by Modern Healthcare.
The program, a cornerstone of the school's curriculum, pairs medical students with individuals and families in underserved communities to understand real-world health drivers. To date, the HD program has served over 700 families and built a network of more than 125 community partners, demonstrating a tangible impact on community health.
