HMH Award Winners Celebrated at 2023 NJBIZ Healthcare Hero Awards

What You Need To Know

On June 27, the winners of the 2023 NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes awards were celebrated at a ceremony at the Palace at Somerset Park.  The two HMH physicians award winners included:

• Dr. Jose Azar, executive vice president, chief quality officer (Physician of the Year)
• Dr. Aakash Shah, chief of Addiction Medicine, Jersey Shore University Medical Center; medical director, Project HEAL; assistant professor, Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine; attending physician, Department of Emergency Medicine, Hackensack University Medical Center (Health Care Professional - Individual Winner)

Robert Henderson, nurse navigator, Behavioral Health, Raritan Bay Medical Center and Old Bridge Medical Center won Nurse of the Year.
