Dr. Mark Anderson, Chairman of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, is recently back from a medical mission to Egypt, where has performed nearly 250 surgeries in Cairo during the past decade as part of a multidisciplinary program to teach advanced minimally invasive cardiac surgery techniques to cardiac surgeons. Dr. Anderson is among an elite group of surgeons who specialize in minimally invasive adult cardiac surgeries.
