Hackensack Meridian Medical Group allergist and immunologist Dr. Mohammad Younus and a patient were featured on CBS Evening News April 26 for a segment about this year's particularly difficult allergy season.
"For the past few years, the allergies have been unusually more severe. The most important factor that we're seeing is the climate change," he said.
According to the segment, the amount of pollen in the air has increased by more than 21 percent since 1990.
