Surgery Residents Win New Jersey American College of Surgeons Olympics

HUMC's surgery resident team recently won the Surgical Olympiad at the New Jersey American College of Surgeons Symposium. The tasks were:
  •    Laparoscopic peeling of a Brussels sprout;
  •    Test questions in surgery;
  •    Sewing on a carotid patch;
  •    Name the surgical instrument;
  •    Laparoscopic dissection of a two-layered kitchen sponge.
MeiYi completed the tasks faster and more accurately than the competitors to clinch the win. Congratulations to our New Jersey State champs!
