On October 30, 2023, HMH celebrated an important milestone on the remarkable journey to reinvent medical education with the investiture of Dr. Hannah Lipman to the Linda Farber Post Chair in Bioethics at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
The Linda Farber Post Chair was made possible by a generous gift from Dr. Kalmon and Mrs. Linda Farber Post and will ensure that our medical students have a keen understanding of the field of bioethics, an integral part of health care delivery. Dr. Lipman joined HUMC in 2018 as the director of bioethics. She then became vice president of bioethics for the entire network and now leads a team of three directors of bioethics. She is also Professor of Internal Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
