Vascular surgeon Anjali Ratnathicam, D.O., RVT, has accepted the position of Medical Director of the Vascular Lab at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC).
Dr. Ratnathicam served as a vascular surgeon at HUMC since 2014. She also serves as an Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery, at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
With more than 20 years of experience as a board-certified general and vascular surgeon, Dr. Ratnathicam specializes in surgical procedures for aneurysms, carotid artery disease, venous disease, thoracic outlet syndrome and aortic dissections.
Before joining the team at Hackensack University Medical Center, Dr. Ratnathicam was a general and vascular surgeon at Westchester Surgical Specialists and Westchester Vascular, PLLC, in New York.

Dr. Ratnathicam earned her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. She completed both a general surgery residency and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.
Dr. Ratnathicam is a member of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the New Jersey Medical Society. She is an author of numerous journal articles and presents nationally on vascular disease and surgical options.
