Anthony Conte, M.D., joins Hackensack Meridian Health as a neurosurgeon at JFK University Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Medical Center. Dr. Conte is fellowship-trained in complex and reconstructive spine surgery. During his residency at Georgetown, Dr. Conte received the ‘String of Pearls Resident Teaching Award.’
During his fellowship, he was trained in open treatment of complex spine deformities, scoliosis, and spinal oncologic pathologies. He is extensively trained in minimally invasive surgical treatment of degenerative, oncologic, and traumatic spine conditions. Additionally, he is passionate about neurocritical care and minimally invasive treatment of cranial pathologies, including brain tumors, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries.
