Verda J. Hicks, M.D., FACS, FACOG, medical director, Gynecologic Oncology, Hackensack Meridian Health Cancer Care, Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties and chief, Gynecologic Oncology, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, will be honored at the American Cancer Society’s annual Tides of Change Gala on Thursday, November 21.
Dr. Hicks will receive the Healthcare Professional of the Year award for going above and beyond to help the Society and the patients and researchers they serve, and for her commitment to cancer research, education, advocacy, and service.
