
Sameer Jamal, M.D., recently joined Hackensack Meridian Health Medical Group—Cardiovascular Partners.
Dr. Jamal is currently the director of the Electrophysiology Program at Palisades Medical Center and a staff cardiac electrophysiologist at Hackensack University Medical Center.
After completion of an eight year combined undergraduate and medical school program, he went on to complete his training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
During Dr. Jamal’s training, he served as both chief cardiology fellow at the Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University School of Medicine and as chief clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Jamal has published numerous abstracts and papers in peer reviewed journals, presented at national meetings and is actively participating in a variety of research trials. He continues to teach medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows, and is an assistant professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall.
