Thomas Sniscak, DMD, has been selected to serve a four-year appointment on the American Dental Association Council on Membership, representing District 4 (NJ, DE, MD, DC, PR, VI, and the Federal Dental Services).
Dr. Sniscak recently completed his tenure as president of the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society and three years as chair of the New Jersey Dental Association's New Dentist Committee.
During the society’s President’s Dinner Dance in May, his mentor John Feeney, DDS, in an invocation for members, honored him. Dr. Feeney noted Dr. Sniscak’s concern for his community and patient care and the advancement of post-graduate education and dentistry in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. He saluted Dr. Sniscak and his administration for their “personal virtues, professional principles and doctrines of dedication.”
Dr. Sniscak completed his general practice residency in 2011 and continues to maintain privileges at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He along with Frederic Paperth, DMD; Sally-Jo Placa, DMD; W. Christian Madsen, DMD and Sangchin Song, DMD, instituted the inaugural Emergency Department, Dental Attending On-Call Program at Jersey Shore for the direct evaluation, treatment or referral of patients. This program has been very valuable at Jersey Shore’s emergency department, which receives the fourth most patients in the state, 3 percent of which are dental emergencies.
