Roberta Chiu, M.D., PGY-2, in Jersey Shore’s pediatric residency program, received a $5,000 from Hackensack Meridian Health's Office of Human Experience. The Experience Innovation Grant, Innovate X, provides team members with funds for innovating solutions that have a positive impact on experiences and outcomes.
Through Dr. Chiu's grant, Jersey Shore received 8iPads that the residents can use in the nursery, inpatient unit, NICU and PICU to place orders during rounds, look up lab values, or show family members imaging results. Additionally, it will save paper by avoiding printing lengthy sign-outs.
