What You Need To Know
This is about an important update to the Epic Secure Chat policy. Based on feedback and requests from executives, leaders, clinicians, and team members throughout the organization, effective April 1, 2026, access to Epic Secure Chat will extend beyond licensed clinicians to include all team members with an Epic account. This change will allow for direct and secure instant messaging between all clinical and ancillary support teams involved in a patient's care journey.
