What You Need To Know
WHY:
Epic system updates need to be installed.
WHEN:
Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 9:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. (10-minute pause)HOW DOES THIS IMPACT ME:
For 10 minutes, the system will be "Paused" and all connections are suspended. When the Pause is complete, users can resume their workflows.
If you are performing a workflow during the Pause that will require you to use downtime procedures, please take this time to review your local procedures.
Epic Hyperspace Read-Only is also available during this time, if needed.
NOTE: Epic Customizations will be temporarily unavailable beginning 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, lasting until the update is complete at 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 17. These include:
- Creating or editing filters in Chart Review
- Applying filters in work lists
- Customizing advanced settings for Charge Router Reconciliation and Routed Charges reports
- Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
- Personalizing dashboards
- Creating, Editing, and Sharing NoteWriter Macros
- Creating or editing QuickActions
- Adding users to In Basket pools
