Duo Automatic Push Update On Thursday, March 28

Published:
March 11, 2024

What You Need To Know

What: Beginning March 28, you will no longer be required to click “Send Push” when using Duo Authenticator. If you already have push notifications enabled in your Duo profile, the notification will automatically be sent to your mobile device.

The update will be done automatically and there is no anticipated downtime or pause with this update.

Here is how the new screen will appear:

  • If you prefer to use a different verification method, simply click “Other options” and choose an option from the menu.
  • New "Remember" Option (appears after authentication).
  • After the "remember device" setting expires in seven days, a "Remember me" checkbox is automatically checked (and may be unchecked if desired). This default must be reset every eight days.
