Install New Google Meet Mobile Application By October 15

What You Need To Know

WHAT: Google Meet has a new mobile application that should be used going forward. The old version, called Google Meet (Original) will be removed from all HMH-owned devices this month. WHEN: Google Meet (Original) will be unavailable on HMH-owned devices beginning Sunday, Oct. 15.  DETAILS: 
  • The new version of Google Meet is available to download now from the HMH catalog of applications in the Hub app.
  • After Oct. 15, the old version of Google Meet will not work on HMH-owned devices. If the new version is not yet installed, you must download it before participating in a Google Meet.
  • Learn more about advanced Meet features such as recording, interactive Q&As, live polling, and breakout rooms.
