What You Need To Know

WHY: Epic system updates need to be installed WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 DURATION: 10 minutes START TIME: 9:30 P.M . END TIME: 9:40 P.M. HOW DOES THIS IMPACT ME: For 10 minutes, the system will be "Paused" and all connections suspended. When the Pause is complete, users can resume their workflows. If you are performing a workflow during the Pause that will require you to use downtime procedures, please take this time to review your local procedures. Epic Hyperspace Read-Only is also available during this time, if needed. NOTE: Epic Customizations will be temporarily unavailable beginning 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, lasting until the update is complete at 9:40 p.m. Thursday. These include:
  • Creating or editing filters in Chart Review
  • Applying filters in work lists
  • Customizing advanced settings for Charge Router Reconciliation and Routed Charges reports
  • Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
  • Personalizing dashboards
  • Creating, Editing, and Sharing NoteWriter Macros
  • Creating or editing QuickActions
  • Adding users to In Basket pools
