10Minute Epic Pause Scheduled for 930 pm Thursday August 3

What You Need To Know

  • Epic system updates will be installed Thursday, August 3, 2023 for 10 minutes from 9:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.
For 10 minutes on August 3, Epic system will be "paused" and all connections suspended. When the pause is complete, users can resume their workflows. Epic Hyperspace Read-Only is also available during this time, if needed. Epic Customization will be temporarily unavailable beginning 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, lasting until the update is complete at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, August 3. These include:
  • Creating or editing filters in Chart Review
  • Applying filters in work lists
  • Customizing advanced settings for Charge Router Reconciliation and Routed Charges reports
  • Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
  • Personalizing dashboards
  • Creating, Editing, and Sharing NoteWriter Macros
  • Creating or editing QuickActions
  • Adding users to In Basket pools
