Epic Inpatient Brain Death Exam Navigator and Smartforms Available July 19

What You Need To Know

  • There will be a new Brain Death Exam Navigator within the Discharge activity in Epic.  This navigator will give physicians the ability to fill out a SmartForm and automatically create a note to replace their current manual note.
  • The Brain Death Exam SmartForms have been designed to match the HMH Brain Death Policy.
  • The update will be available beginning Wednesday, July 19th.
