Enoxaparin And Warfarin Defaulting To The Next Scheduled Time Beginning April 19

What You Need To Know

• The scheduling of enoxaparin and warfarin will default the dose to the next scheduled time beginning Wednesday, April 19.
• Previously, if the dose being ordered fell within a specific time frame, the first dose would default to be given immediately, potentially causing doses to be given earlier than the clinician intended.

This update prevents unintended doses being administered, potentially causing severe bleeding or other adverse drug reactions.
