What You Need To Know
- We will replace the current experience-based DTS accelerated training courses with proctored test-out exams located at Edison Training Center and in HMH physician lounge locations in the Northern and Southern regions.
- Providers must contact the Medical Staffing Offices to register and schedule the exam(s). The MSO will email the provider the HMHN Epic Training Intake Form to complete.
- Registration opens Monday, April 3. Testing begins Tuesday, April 11.
Who is Eligible
- Providers who have used the Epic EHR to document patient care within the last 6 months at another health care organization;
- Providers who previously trained at HMH but need additional Epic training due to expired Epic access. (Epic access expires if a provider does not log in within 6 months;
- Providers who have an active User ID/ADID HMH network account.
Proctored-Exam Registration Prerequisite Requirements
- Providers must be able to log into MySuccess Learning Management system (LMS).
- Providers must have an HMH ID Badge or Drivers License/State ID to verify identity
The Proctored Test-Out Epic training exams will be available to the following provider roles:

| STORK | Inpatient OB/GYN Attendings, Fellows, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APN), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), and Physician Assistants | 90 Minutes |
| ANESTHESIA | Anesthesiologist and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) | 90 Minutes |
| AMBULATORY | Ambulatory Attendings, Fellows, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APN), and Physician Assistants | 90 Minutes |
| ASAP | Emergency Dept. Attendings, Fellows, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APN), and Physician Assistants | 90 Minutes |

IMPORTANT: Providers must arrive no later than 15-minutes after the start time in order to take the test. Providers have to pass the exam with an 80% or greater on the first attempt; providers who do not pass in the first attempt will be required to take the full class. Walk-ins are not permitted
