What You Need To Know
- Epic updates to Transfer Center Orders in “Orders” and “ASAP” will improve transfer communication and workflow.
Beginning Tuesday, March 21, 2023
- Transfer Orders: The current order will be replaced with distinct discharge orders about where the patient is to be transferred.
- ASAP: The following "ASAP" orders have been added to the ED preference lists and will appear in the Dispo activity when the disposition is set to “Transferred to Another Facility.”
- Transfer ED Patient to Another Acute Care Hospital
- Transfer ED Patient to Another Behavioral Health Facility
