Beginning with Hackensack going live on Beaker on Sunday, November 1, 2020, physicians who need to collect a specimen for lumbar punctures, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, etc., need to ask a nurse to document the specimen collection in Epic.
The correct lab label will be printed upon completing the collection in Epic. Do not label specimens with the regular patient labels in the chart.
