New Potential Measles Exposures

The New Jersey Department of Health is warning residents about new possible measles exposures:

Middlesex and Ocean Counties Exposures

A New York City resident with a confirmed case of measles potentially exposed individuals in Middlesex and Ocean counties on April 22 and 23 at:
  • Sky Zone, 600 Hadley Rd, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on April 22 from 12-5 p.m.
  • River 978 Banquet Hall, 978 River Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701 on April 23 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. (April 24)
If infected, exposed individuals could develop symptoms as late as May 14.

Newark Liberty International Airport Exposure

On April 16, an international traveler from Israel with confirmed measles arrived in Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport from Tel Aviv potentially exposing others to measles. If infected, exposed individuals could develop symptoms as late as May 7. New Jersey residents identified as potentially exposed on the ill individual’s flights will be notified by their local health department.
