Stacy Doumas, MD
Stacy Doumas, MD, is the Residency Program Director and Vice Chair of Education & Research, Department of Psychiatry, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey , part of the Hackensack Meridian Health Family. Dr. Doumas graduated with honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School in 2001. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Rutger’s, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a Clinical Associate Professor at the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Vice Chair & Associate Professor Department of Psychiatry, Seton Hall Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr. Doumas holds board certifications in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Psychiatry.
This continuing educational activity is intended to provide licensed independent providers with up-to-date information on the use of physical restraints in the Hackensack Meridian Health system. It will include indications and alternatives for restraints, key components of the restraint policy and a description of the process for ordering and documenting restraints in EPIC.
